The Sunday Morning Chillax: Short Videos with Big Stoke

The Sunday Morning Chillax: This Old Car by David Wilcox

Iffy territory this music thing. Good chance you and I don't exactly share the same taste. So let me put it like this: singer and song writer David Wilcox handles the stage all by himself with an acoustic guitar and a mountain of stories, and his live performances are a lot like hiking a mountain with a friend, sharing tales and stories along the way. And this one? Told from the point of view of 16-year-old minivan that's been around since the first days of a family's new baby. But it's inspired by a real event in his own life with his own minivan when his son rolled 16 years. As a fairly enthusiastic "car guy" myself, I enjoy this little number, This Old Car, and the metaphor for love. Indeed, most of my best memories with my wife happened in a car. Well, okay, so I didn't mean it like that . . . Anyway, if you're going to have a 16-year-old learning to drive at some point in your life, this one's for you. Listen and enjoy.

The Sunday Morning Chillax is here while you're enjoying a cup of coffee in the quiet morning as your kids, hopefully, sleep in. No need to read, this is always a video; something to give you happy thoughts about mountains, fresh air, stoke, fun, or being outside. Enjoy. Relax. And, um, not guaranteed to be weekly — hey, you get what you pay for, but it's a dang good bargain.
