Two Climbing Moms Take a Vacation and Go Deep

Hey, so how's this school year going? It's been a long, hot summer 'round these here parts and we didn't get out for some fun nearly as frequently as I think we should have. Our oldest daughter started first grade (I know, right?) a couple of weeks ago, bringing the summer of 2013 to an awfully quick close. Now it's early mornings, a lot of hollering, homework, bedtime routines that drag on, when I finally get a sec I go, "How did I become this kind of parent? This wasn't supposed to happen to me. I'm supposed to be cool." And then prAna goes and flings this short video out there.

Very little is known about the safety of travel and exercise at high altitude for pregnant women. Who has the definitive answer for what types of exercise are safe during pregnancy, and where is the line drawn? Bang-for-buck? Space for adult hanky-panky? Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes. Right?

So, I think I've found them. Check out this gallery.

Sadly you can't buy them any more. JJ Cole cut it from their product line and the only thing that soothes our heartache is our unrelenting quest for a similarly awesome, good looking, functional sling bag.

Well, we've stumbled upon some good news, and Patagonia's Atom sling bag scores some big points . . .

The Perfect (Home Made) Camp Table: for Kids and Cocktails

Not satisfied with what he could purchase in the store, Mark sets out with a vague plan (although an emotionally charged one) for constructing his own roll top camp table out of a nearly indestructible wood. Relying on the argument that it's for his daughter, he fools most; it's really a cocktail table . . .
